Toe Advice
Dear Jeepers,
What is the most fashionable nailpolish colour to wear on my toenails this summer?
Susan L.
P.S. You are right about grey shoes.
Dear Susan,
We think dark cranberry, maybe veering towards purple. Other options: black, pearly white, greens, tropical orange. Bright shiny red will never be wrong. And if you're tan and fit and have nice feet, no polish at all is sweet.
Yours,
Jeepers
Update: Try these colors. Foot loose, Jewel, Life Saver, Orchid Oasis, the incorrectly named Peach Daquiri, Plumberry, and Newyorkette's favorite, Fondola Gondola.

I beg to differ. I favor mulberry-ish, tea rose colors, in particular, Essie's "Fondola Gondola," which is on my toes this very minute, and most likely will be freshly applied all summer. Last few summer's color was their "Mucho Dinero," a sort of J-Lo nude, which caught the eye of Bryan at Tuleh. Both of these colors look good on toes that have not been roasted like chicken on a spit. For those of us who wear sunscreen. :)
Oh, Carolita, your idea sounds even better than cranberry! Tea rose it is. Where does one find the Essie brand?
It IS (going to be) summer, after all. The bottom line for us and color this very second is non-primary, sweet, old-fashioned, combo colors. And mulberry sounds just perfect. xo
Essie is in all the nail salons, where you can buy them for yourself too!
Does this mean I have to give up my metallic blue?
i must say i'd rather go for pearly white..
pearly white, or a matt candy pink (think muted fluoro to go with those nu-rave kids). and never ever match fingers and toes ladies

Andy from England,
We'll have to get back to you on whether there's a male equivalent of What To Wear This Very Second, but in the meantime, you might enjoy the Style Guy at http://men.style.com/gq/fashion/styleguy
(or you can click on the link to Style Guy on the right-hand column of this blog). He's super funny, plus very well informed and he answers men's fashion questions. Thanks for your sweet comments on the site! And if you'd like more man-centered content, please ask Jeepers a fashion question. kisses,
J
What did you say about grey shoes? What did I miss?
Eunice,
Believe she's refering to a long-ago comment we made about grey shoes being a must-have, t-strap grey shoes at that. In retrospect, we're not sure t-strap is necessary, but grey shoes: still scrumptious. xo

I think it depends on your skin tone personally. I think if you have darker skin then go for dark and deep colors. If you're on the fairer side you should stick with pearly and light colors.
I feel dark blue or china red. great illustrate work lovely
My flatmate used yellow it surprise me that looks pretty good.
Am writing this article to thank Doctor Ehimen for the wondrous miracle that he did for me because he helped me recently to bring back my lovely husband that left me for his EX girlfriend for no reason for 4 years. Am Renea Holman From Belgium. After enough searching and surfing on the internet, I came across a post made by Valeria Diego from Mexico referring of how she was helped by Doctor Ehimen the spell caster. I also decided to contact the spell caster called Doctor Ehimen for help because i was desperate and i needed to get back my lovely Husband and happiness. I followed all his instructions and he promised and guaranteed me that my husband will get back to me within 12 to 16 hours after he has finished with the preparation of the spell. I hid to his words and am happy and i can proudly say today that i have my husband back with the help of Doctor Ehimen.
